This policy explains how SIA “AVE ENGINEERING” processes personal data when you visit our website or contact us about our services.

The data we process and why
When you contact us by email or telephone, we may process your name, contact details, the company you represent, your enquiry and project materials you choose to send. We use these to respond, clarify the scope, prepare an offer and arrange a service. Please provide only personal data needed for your enquiry.
For services you request for yourself, the legal basis is steps before entering into a contract or performance of a contract — GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For communication with company representatives and general enquiries, our legitimate interest in conducting business correspondence is the basis — Article 6(1)(f). Article 6(1)(c) applies to retaining documents required by law.
Providing data for an initial enquiry is voluntary. Without sufficient contact or project information, we may be unable to respond or prepare an offer. There is no enquiry form on this website; email and telephone links open your chosen communication application.
Website operation and security
To deliver website content and protect the service, the hosting and security infrastructure processes technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested address and browser information. Our legitimate interest is to operate a secure and reliable website — GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
The AVE ENGINEERING website code contains no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other visitor tracking tools. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
Cookies and language selection
The AVE ENGINEERING website code does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The selected language is specified in the page address — /lv, /en or /ru — without saving it in localStorage or sessionStorage. The avee-lang preference stored by an earlier version is removed when you open the homepage.

This technical security cookie supports necessary protection, rather than our advertising. You can manage or delete it in your browser settings; blocking it may affect access. This version does not request consent to analytics or advertising cookies because we do not add them. If introduced, we will provide the required choice before activation and a way to withdraw consent.
Service providers and data locations
Access to data may be provided, where necessary, to authorised staff and service providers: OpenAI Sites for hosting, Cloudflare for network security, and email and IT providers for communication. Data may be disclosed to competent authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Hosting and security services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. The providers describe international processing and safeguards in the OpenAI European privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy. You can ask about recipients and transfer safeguards applicable to your data by emailing info@avee.lv.
How long data is kept
We retain correspondence while handling your enquiry, preparing an offer and determining whether cooperation will proceed. Further retention depends on an ongoing project, a specific need to establish or defend a claim or resolve a dispute, and statutory document retention requirements. When these grounds no longer apply, data should be deleted or anonymised.
Retention of technical data in hosting and security systems depends on the relevant service’s security and operational needs; provider information is available in the policies linked above. The security cookie duration is listed in the table.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send requests to info@avee.lv. We verify identity only as necessary. We normally respond within one month; complex cases may require an extension under the GDPR, of which we will inform you. You may lodge a complaint with Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate.
Policy updates
We update this policy when website features or data processing change. The current version’s date appears at the top. This document provides information; reading it or visiting the website does not by itself constitute consent to data processing.
